This variant is currently sold out
We're buzzing with joy to launch another limited edition collaboration with our friends at Hazel Village. This autumn season, the Hazel Village animals decided to dress as the most industrious friend of them all - the hardworking, buzzing bee! They think there is no better costume than to honor their busy pollinator friends.
Our exclusive, bundled set includes:
- The Hazel Village animal of your choice (please select from Nicholas, Annicke or Gracie in drop down menu).
- Animal will come dressed in their bee costume. This delightfully round costume looks just like a well-fed bee. The suit is made of gold and brown satin, fully lined and with soft cotton gauze wings trailing from the shoulders. It comes with a black linen bonnet with cute bee antennas, and black cotton tights so the animals can have warm legs in the nippy fall air.
- A small honey pot with removable lid. Made of smooth, unfinished wood and measures 2.25" x 2.12". Perfect for painting or keeping natural!
- A small, wooden and food safe honey dipper. 4" long.
- A 6" cotton "tote" bag for keeping treats with a small "save the (bees)" button attached.
A bit about each animal:
Annicke Mouse likes to wake up really early and search the meadow for new mushrooms. Unlike a human, she can tell by scent whether they are poisonous or delicious. She picks a bunch and leaves them on Ella Toad's doorstep, then goes about her business. Then, when Ella wakes up around noon she makes a delicious mushroom omelet, which is Annicke's lunch and Ella's breakfast. Product Details: Annicke measures 14" tall. She is made of light brown organic cotton fleece, with a hand-embroidered face and striped cotton lining on her floppy ears. She is stuffed with washable fiberfill, so you can hand wash her if she gets grubby.
If you ask Gracie Cat what her favorite activity is, she will tell you: fishing. She has loved it ever since she was a kitten. She says on a good afternoon, she can catch a dozen minnows. When she has enough she takes her fish to Owen Fox’s house, and the animals have a fish fry. Although some of them eat only salad. Gracie says that is fine; more fish for her. Product Details: Gracie is about 14″ tall. She is made of organic cotton fleece, mostly gray but with natural-colored details on her face and tummy. Her face is hand-stitched with cotton embroidery thread. She is stuffed with polyfill. If she gets dirty she can be hand washed in cool water and air dried. She wants to remind you she sticks her feet in the pond all the time - you shouldn’t believe what you hear about cats hating water.
Nicholas Bear likes to be prepared. For instance, what if he is up in the Far Meadow, and he finds a good harvest of acorns but he has no wagon to carry them? That is why his wagon is always bumping along behind him. He says it's worth the extra effort. Plus it is shiny. Product Details: Nicholas is about 14" tall and is made from tan organic cotton fleece. His ears are lined with natural cotton muslin. His face is hand-stitched with cotton thread. If he gets grimy you can hand-wash him and he will air dry.
About Hazel Village: Deep in a leafy grove, the clever animals of Hazel Village live in their neat little houses, happy and free. They keep their perky ears attuned to the sounds of their forest home, and use their wits to do helpful and kind projects for their neighbors. The animals’ motto in Hazel Village is one we should all follow: INDUSTRY AND GOOD CHEER, EVERY DAY AND EVERY YEAR!
SAFETY WARNING: Hazel Village animals are suitable for all ages because their faces are embroidered and they are soft dolls. We recommend for ages three and under, you remove any doll clothes that a baby or small child could pull off. All other items in this set are suitable for ages 3+.
